Love still loves no matter what you choose. That is loves nature...it loves...no matter the choice. No matter the outcome of that choice.
Love is involved in the idea, the choice, the outcome and the whole of all of the seemingly separate parts.
Nothing is outside of Love. Love is, was and always will be whole and complete, beginning to end.
Consider all the ways we have believed otherwise and perpetuated the idea we are love starved when the whole of love is always giving of itself perpetually because of itself, not despite of.
